The requirements include being responsible for the efficient handling and control of the parts department through proper receipting, shipping, record keeping, delivery, and reporting as well as other duties specified by the parts/service manager. You will be responsible for all aspects of parts procurement, vendor relations, and customer service for heavy construction applications. You must be able to read diagrams, and use computer for parts lookup. You must have good communication and phone skills, ability to multitask with customer walk-ins and phone calls. You will receive all customer and service department ordered parts and components and place in proper areas and/or ships to the customers per orders specifications. You will monitor promised delivery schedules are met and any known delays are communicated to immediate supervisor. Computer and phone skills are required, as well as professionalism. You will be responsible for other duties as assigned by management. You must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle as needed, lift parts (10-100 lbs.) regularly, and operation of forklift is required.
