Company History: A Legacy of Excellence

Let's take a step back in time to where it all began. KIOTI was founded in 1947 as Daedong Industrial in Daegu, South Korea. Its transformation into the industry giant we know today was a gradual process. Initially, the company specialized in manufacturing heavy equipment. These machines gained immense popularity in Korea. Fast forward to the 1980s, when Daedong made its foray into the American market with its first compact tractor.

In 1993, KIOTI established its headquarters in Wilson, North Carolina, under the banner of Daedong-USA, Inc. The company quickly gained more footing in Western markets, which included the company’s American trade name – KIOTI. By 2004, it had opened a new American headquarters in Wendell, North Carolina. Presently, KIOTI boasts a robust network in North America, with over 350 dealers.
